The dogs are panting incessantly

You know those days where all you can do is lay around in a hammock and drink gallons of homemade lemonade because it's just that hot outside? Well today is one of those days. Except I had to be out meeting clients and trying to not to look like I had just peeled myself out of a hot car.

I planned on making a shrimp curry for dinner but the mere thought of hot food is making my hair sweat. Maybe it's going to turn into a shrimp ceviche!

It was a chilly afternoon and Lola had to suffer a nap without any warm sunshine. So of course this technique can only be performed upside down.

I called it their portrait session, they called it annoying

Her morning tanning

Every morning when I wake up and leave the bedroom to put the kettle on Lola struggles her way from the bedroom to the sunlight bathing the ground behind the back of the sofa. And, I'm not exaggerating when I say struggle. It's the most dramatic, lazy walk you've ever seen. She rounds the corner to the light and just collapses to the floor for the next hour or so. After a good bake she moseys back to the bedroom panting to cool down.
